Okay guys, so I learned some really exciting news today from our contact over at FPU.  They’ve re-filmed the entire series and condensed it from a 13 week class to a 9 week class, and they’ve slightly lowered the cost per family.  I’m excited to go through all of the new material in preparation for another round of FPU at New Valley Church this coming Fall.

A quick review:

I’ve spoken with a few class members over the past few weeks to see how they’re doing.  Some of you absorbed the material and made it a symbiotic component in your quest for financial survival, and some, as expected, have fallen off the wagon.  My obvious passion is to fire you up enough that you’ll own the material and really, REALLY live it.  Not just “think” about living it, or “try it out for a while” but that you’d grasp the concept of God’s and Grandma’s way of managing money and run with it all the way to financial freedom, and eventually wealth.

Don’t give up on this.  Get yourself connected to the daily podcast.  Tune in to hear Dave’s radio program every night on 92.3 KTAR.  Did you know there’s an app on the iPhone just for streaming KTAR radio?

After discussing the prospect of holding another 13 week series (which was long, in my opinion) with Scott Brown, pastor at New Valley Church, and with the advent of the new material and condensed length, I have decided to commit to facilitating the class again this fall.  Of course, my plans aren’t always the right plans, but I’m planning on leading again unless something else comes along.

For those of you who already went through the course, I will have an update for you regarding new materials should you go through the class again.  As we have known in the past, once you go through, you become a lifetime member and can re-take the class, but the materials change over time, and there is a cost to replace or update them.

If you’re interested in being a part of the upcoming class, which I strongly recommend you do, as strongly as I would recommend you cash your paycheck when you get paid (duh), then let me know and I’ll put you on the list.

If you’re interested in becoming part of the process of facilitating this class at New Valley, also let me know.  I would gladly utilize the help.  Thanks!

Greetings everyone.  I just wanted to reach out to let you all know that the FPU graduation certificates are in!  However, I don’t have all of your mailing addresses.  As soon as they are prepared, they will be sent out to those of you who completed 12 of the 13 courses.  Congratulations!

Please update me with your mailing address.  You can e-mail it to me, or tweet it to me, or send it to me through Facebook.  You can courier it to me, call me and tell it to me, start a camp fire and send smoke signals to me.  You can use morse code, or a tin can with string.  You can write it on a paper airplane and throw it to me.  Whatever suits you.

Thanks!
